Waking up at 4am on a chilly winters morning was totally worth it for this shoot! We set up on the beach at first light and were ready to go as the sun was rising. Poor Mimi was chilled to the bone modelling just bikinis and summer outfits.
The peacock chair was the main inspiration behind the shoot - I fell in love with them a while ago and had been trawling the internet / garage sales and second hand stores for weeks trying to find one. I was lucky enough to find this one on Gumtree two suburbs away from my house in perfect condition! It was brought to Australia from London in the 1960s and holds pole position in my living room now!
The teepee was put together after a quick trip to Spotlight, just a few scrap white pieces of material and some curtain rods!
The amazing ankle cuffs are from Brisbane store Haute Boheme, and you might even notice a familiar turquoise Koleha necklace in some of the pics! This shoot also featured my pastel chevron print that has been used on the maxi skirt. All other pieces are available at saboskirt.com xx
