Hollywood

Im sorry to break it to you but Hollywood isn't all glitz&glam - its more tourist&trashy. Definitely still a sight to see if you're in the area, just not what I expected. We stayed at the Roosevelt which I loved! We could see the Hollywood sign out of our room window and straight down to Graumans Chinese Theatre and the walk of fame is on the doorstep. Kind of lame and embarrassing we joined the tourists and figured we would venture into Madame Tussads. Turns out it was actually hilarious!

After a few drinks at the Tropicana Pool Bar we built up the courage to ask the guy on the Beachers Madhouse door downstairs if he would let us in. After seeing that it cost $500-$5000 a table we were intrigued. Hidden behind a bookcase in the Roosevelt, this place has seen the likes of Miley, Katy Perry, Kelly Osbourne, Paris, Lauren Conrad and more... and he let us up through the front of the VIP line for free! (Us Aussies!) Score. This place is basically a freak show, mixed with a night club, burlesque bar and trouble. There are flying midget oompa loompas that bring you drinks and pink gorillas onstage - Sorry no camera allowed inside!
Ok so Hollywood ain't too bad at all.
