We hired.. sorry rented (americans don't know what we mean when we say hired) a car and road tripped it to the californian desert. Two words - PALM TREES... EVERYWHERE!.. palm trees, palm trees, palm trees.. did I say palm trees? Hence the name of the town we are staying - Palm Springs. A little fun fact for you : After speaking to a local about them he brings it up that they cost $3000 per tree already fully grown.. isn't that cray cray!
So anyway, its beautiful here! You step out the door and there is this magical backdrop of snow topped mountains, and its 40 degrees outside! Today was all about relaxing, eating and chilling by the pool. As you can see from the photo of me in the pool my skin is pitch white so this was quite necessary!
